Alexandre Fontaine

Biography

Alexandre Fontaine is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Education of the University of Vienna. Specialist of the notion of Cultural Transfer, he holds a PhD in History from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and a PhD in German Studies from the University of Paris 8. His book “Aux heures suisses de l’école républicaine” won the Louis Cros Prize 2015, awarded by the Académie des Sciences morales et politiques (Institut de France). He is currently working on a habilitation project.
