Biography
Sébastien-Akira Alix is currently an associate researcher at the Centre de recherche sur les liens sociaux (CERLIS - UMR 8070). In 2013-14, he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship and served as an Honorary Fellow in the Department of Educational Policy Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His publications so far have focused on the history and philosophy of progressive education in the U.S. as well as on transnational circulations of educational ideas, methods and practices.
