Oliver Rick is a PhD graduate from the University of Maryland. His research covers three main areas: The Globalization of sport, urban sport and recreation development, and building models for public sport scholarship. Olivers teaching record includes holding faculty positions at Towson University, Tufts University, and The University of Massachusetts – Boston. Currently Oliver is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport Management and Recreation at Springfield College.
