Biography

Camille Moreddu holds a PhD in contemporary history from Paris Nanterre University. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Saint Boniface, Winnipeg, Canada. Her work focuses on cultural politics in the United States between the two world wars, the history of folklore and ethnomusicology, ethnocultural representations, and the uses of the past in vernacular musical practices in North America (United States and Canada, 19th-20th centuries).
