Lúcia Granja is Full Professor of Brazilian Literature and Culture at UNICAMP (University of Campinas). She is researcher of the FAPESP and CNPq supporting agencies. She studies of Machado de Assis' Work and the History of Books and Publishing in Brazil and France. She is a researcher associated to the Centre d'Histoire Culturelle des Sociétés Contemporaines, Université de Versailles, and to the Centre de Recherches sur les Pays Lusophones, Univ. Paris 3-Sorbonne Nouvelle.
