Biography

Dr. Jacques Pothier is Emeritus Professor of American Studies at the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin en Yvelines and at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of St Germain-en-Laye. He is a former vice-president of the Institut des Amériques (France), a former president of the French Association for American Studies and member of the board of the European Association for American Studies.
