Manon Fabre is a recent graduate of the Music History and Aesthetics classes at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, and a student attached to the Arts department at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. She divides her research activities between the French jazz scene of the interwar period and the Russian composer Alexander Scriabin, to whom she dedicated a master's thesis at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales.
