Biography
Didier Aubert teaches American Studies at Sorbonne Nouvelle University. He is a MERA fellow at the Center for the Study of Material & Visual Cultures of Religion (2016-2021). His essays on photography and photojournalism across the Americas have been published in various international journals including Visual Studies, and Etudes Photographiques. He co-edited Refaire l’Amérique in 2011 and L’Amérique des Images in 2013. He is a member of Transatlantic Cultures’ editorial team.
