Biography
Andrea Gremels is research associate at the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt, Germany. Her main research interests are transcultural studies, transmedial approaches and Surrealism. To pursue her current research project on the transnational connections of Surrealism between Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean she has received an Alexander von Humboldt-Fellowship at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris.
