Maîtresse de Conférences
Lara Cox is Maîtresse de Conférences in English and the Visual Arts at the Université of Toulouse Jean Jaurès. Her research concentrates on transatlantic exchanges in intellectual history and visual culture since 1945. Her second monograph (under contract with Bloomsbury) will study the shifting meanings of whiteness during the period 1945-1970 in the visual avant-gardes. It will analyse theatre-makers and exhibition-makers who migrated between the US and France, and the US and Britain.
