Biography

Cibele Barbosa is a historian with a Master's and Doctorate degree in Modern and Contemporary History at Paris IV-Sorbonne University. She is currently a Senior Researcher at the Joaquim Nabuco Foundation / Brazilian Ministry of Education. He has experience in themes such as Brazilian social thought and historiography, especially on Gilberto Freyre, Afro-Brazilian history and visual history of colonialism.
